General Description Location, Location, Location! Located in the historic Chautauqua area of Old Town. This property is steps to Lake Ontario and a lovely walk along the lake to the fantastic dining and shopping area of Niagara on the Lake. The main floor of Summerset House offers a fantastic chef style fully equipped kitchen with a large island, half bath, laundry facility, a bright family room with a gas fireplace overlooking the patio, a large living room with a 50” HD TV with cable and surround sound and a separate dining room with an original stone gas fireplace. The upper level offers a newly renovated four piece bathroom with luxurious towels and local soaps for your enjoyment. There are three bedrooms all with luxurious linens and bedding. The master bedroom has a king size Tempur-pedic bed, the second bedroom offers a king sized bed, the third bedroom offers a queen size sleigh bed. Each of the bedrooms are beautifully furnished and sure to make you feel right at home! The back outdoor space is a very private fenced yard that is backed on to wood land full of birds, hawks, wild turkeys and the occasional deer and offers a hot tub, BBQ and ample seating for your enjoyment. Enjoy breakfast on the sunny front porch or a glass of local wine in the evening. Stroll down to the lake and enjoy one of the best sunsets according to National Geographic Magazine. Summerset House offers the entire home for you and your guests to get away from it all yet feel right at home! Your hosts will greet you at the property and show you the workings of the home. Directions Driving Directions FROM SARNIA/WINDSOR/HWY 401 Follow Hwy 401 to Hwy 403 (after Woodstock, ON) heading towards Hamilton & Niagara, exit at Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway which becomes Red Hill Valley Parkway and exits unto QEW Niagara. Follow QEW Niagara to the 2nd exit past the Skyway Bridge in St. Catharines (Exit Glendale North) Turn right, pass over QEW and make a left turn on York Rd, then right at Airport Rd (Automotive Warehouse) and follow through to Hwy 55 (also known as Niagara Stone RD). Turn left onto Mary Street and right on Shakespeare Avenue and proceed to #60 Shakespeare Avenue. FROM TORONTO Follow QEW Niagara to the 2nd exit past the Skyway Bridge in St. Catharines (Exit Glendale North) Turn right, pass over QEW and make a left turn on York Rd, then right at Airport Rd (Automotive Warehouse) and follow through to Hwy 55 (also known as Niagara Stone RD) Turn left onto Mary Street and right on Shakespeare Avenue and proceed to #60 Shakespeare Avenue. FROM BUFFALO/FORT ERIE Upon Exiting Customs, you will automatically be on the QEW heading north. Follow signs to Toronto/Hamilton past Niagara Falls to exit HWY 55, Niagara Stone Road. Follow signs to Niagara on the Lake, make a left turn on Mary St. and a right turn on Shakespeare Avenue and proceed to #60 Shakespeare Avenue. FROM LEWISTON/QUEENSTON HEIGHTS CUSTOMS There is a toll booth to enter Canada. Proceed straight ahead and exit at Stanley Avenue turn right and follow signs to Niagara on the Lake. You will be travelling parallel to HWY 405. At the round-about, exit halfway on your right onto Niagara Parkway leading directly into Niagara on the Lake, make a left turn on King Street and a right turn Mary Street and then a right turn on Shakespeare Avenue and proceed to #60 Shakespeare Avenue.
